Summit events (conferences/discussions/panels) are planned in three different locations, and accordingly abide by different rules.

An exhibition (ICT4D) including booths is going to take place in Palexpo Hall 4.


WSIS events per se are held in Palexpo Hall 2, near by Palexpo Hall 1 where the "Core Event" is taking place. Palexpo Hall 2 are Palexpo Hall 1 are located at the first level of a building. At the ground level of this building, there is the restaurant and the conference center. Accreditation badges will be needed to access to Palexpo Hall 2 and 1. However, no accreditation badges will be needed to access the the Conference Centre. Therefore, the multipurpose rooms ( Cervin, Mont-Blanc, Sal�ve, Jura, between 300 and 450 seats ) will be accreditation-badge free.

It is no longer possible to apply (since August) to organize a (Hall 2) WSIS event. It might be still be possible to organize events at ICT4D (Hall 4) or outside Palexpo. The list of approved events. (Hall 2 - Hall 4 - Outside ) counts 128 events. Booking conference rooms for approved (Hall 2) summit events is free.


ICT4D organizes both of series of conferences/discussions ( ICT4D Forum ) and an exhibition where exhibitors are renting booths. ( Exhibitor registration form ). A NGO has to pay for a booth unless it is a NGO (with governmental confirmation) from development & transition countries. Both the ICT4D Forum and Exhibition are held in Palexpo Hall 4 that are openned to the general public without accreditation. It is still possible to book online a conference room . In order to rent an ICT-4D conference room, there is only one price list and there is no waiver for a NGO from development & transition countries.
